Here’s a look at some of the players we believe offer up value for tonight’s loaded slate:

Gaby Sanchez 1B Miami Marlins – None of the Fish’ bats are stroking it right now, as the team has scored an average of just 3.9 runs per game over the course of their L/10 games. However, the “Blizzard of Oz” has still seen his squad win eight of their L/10, and if that solid run is to continue, someone’s going to have to get to Johan Santana who struck out 11 Miami batters the first time he ran up against them earlier this season. Gaby Sanchez plated the only Marlins tally in that game and is 5-for-8 versus the southpaw lifetime with a pair of doubles. With him currently running cold (1-for-10 L/10), he’s a solid value daily fantasy baseball selection to make some noise in this pitcher/batter match-up.

Honorable 1B Mention: Casey Kotchman

Jeff Francoeur OF Kansas City Royals – Bottom line, the Royals love to tee off on White Sox pitching having scored an average of 5.6 runs per game in the division rivals L/10 overall meetings. Gavin Floyd possesses a career 4.59 ERA & .268 BAA versus the Royals, and “Frenchy” is one of the main reasons why. He enters tonight’s series opener pretty hot hitting safely in each of his L/6 games (.294), and has had nothing but success vs. Floyd going 5-for-9 with a HR and two RBI. With KC’s offense recently coming alive, make it a point to add him to at least one of your daily fantasy MLB freeroll rosters!

Honorable OF Mention: Andrew McCutchen

A.J. Pierzynski C Chicago White Sox – Old reliable A.J. finds himself back on our roster this evening matched up against Royals righty Felipe Paulino. This guy simply gets no love from anyone, but he continues to go out and get the job done night after night. Most of his power numbers have been attained when matched up against right-handed pitching (4 HR & 15 RBI), and he’s had decent success vs. Paulino in his five lifetime ABs going 2-for-4 with an RBI and a walk. Batting behind Konerko in the order tonight whose smashed Paulino in the past only adds to the solid 1-2 punch value here!

Honorable C Mention: Ramon Hernandez

**Value Hurler of the Night**

Jamie Moyer P Colorado Rockies – Everybody and their mother seems to be enamored with Chris Capuano and his blistering start to the 2012 season. So much so that his Dodgers are hefty -175 favorites to win the series opener vs. the Rockies, and he’s one of the top five most expensive SP salaries daily fantasy baseball owners would have to eat to install him into their line-up for tonight. We’re going to go against the grain here and look for the 49-year old to outshine him. LA’s bats have quieted down of late due to Kemp’s injury, and Chavez Ravine at night is one of the toughest venues to go yard in – Moyer’s worth the gamble in this spot!

Honorable SP Mention: Rick Porcello
