C.J. Watson, Chicago Bulls vs. Cleveland Cavaliers – This has the feel of another one of those bench games for the Bulls who should be able to go out and name the score against a Cavaliers team with an ill Kyrie Irving and a lack of bodies to keep Chicago from dominating the glass. With Derrick Rose logging many minutes and erupting for enormous fantasy basketball outputs in the Bulls two games since the break, Coach Thibodeau would love nothing more than to give him some rest with a big one at Philly set to go on Sunday. That would open the door for Watson to steal some minutes and tally a solid fantasy score on the cheap.

Gary Neal, San Antonio Spurs vs. Charlotte Bobcats – Neither Detroit nor Indiana would be considered amongst the best offensive teams in the league, yet both managed to surpass the century mark the three times they opposed the Bobcats before and out of the All Star break. On top of that, the Bobcats have had no luck getting in the way of opposing guards giving up a combined EFF near 24.0 all season long. The Spurs were rusty in their loss to the Bulls on Wednesday night, but we expect it to be bombs away all game long when they host Charlotte this evening. Best to stay away from Tony Parker here since he might be relegated to the bench late with the probability of a blowout exceptionally high evidenced by the game’s current 14.5-point spread.

James Johnson, Toronto Raptors vs. Memphis Grizzlies – We’ve really like what we’ve seen from Johnson of late, and you can get him for a steal at $6000 against a Grizzlies squad that’s been exceptionally bad at defending the forward position all season long. Save for a dud in the Dinos win at New Orleans on Wednesday night, JJ averaged nearly 29 fantast basketball points per game. We’ll take that type of output from a value strategy standpoint every day of the week, while others pay top dollar for that type of production!

Kevin Garnett, Boston Celtics vs. New Jersey Nets – Since returning to the team after tending to a personal matter, KG has posted some impressive stat lines most recently posting 45 fantasy basketball points at home against the Milwaukee Bucks. Now he faces a Nets squad that not only possesses the 25th ranked scoring defense (99.1 PPG allowed), but one that has also had a tough time limiting opposing power forwards. He his 6-of-7 shots from the field and went for 14 and 12 in these teams first meeting; look for him to better that this evening!

DeJuan Blair, San Antonio Spurs vs. Charlotte Bobcats – We’re going right back to the “Picking on Charlotte” well with our center selection on Blair. The big man came up a point short of collecting his fifth straight double-digit effort against the Bulls, but we firmly expect him to get a bulk of the minutes tonight against a Bobcats team even the Spurs should dominate on the glass. Look for a number of cheap put backs to lead to a huge night from the former PITT Panther!
