– It’s a pick between teammates, and both Eric Staal and Jeff Skinner have been hot lately. However, go with Eric Staal, who should be good for at least one goal against the Islanders. Both totaled just two points in four games against the Islanders last season.

Zach Parise is a slam dunk selection, as he’ll likely be facing a rookie goaltender. He has six goals on the season, while Jarome Iginla has lit the lamp just once. Not much more to say.

Phil Kessel has rolled up six points over his past three games, quieting his critics in the center of the hockey universe. He isn’t even close to the same level as Jamie McGinn when both are playing well.

Alexander Steen has rolled up a goal with five assists over his past five games, while Paul Stastny has three goals and two assists over the past four outings. Steen has been more consistent, and is the play here by a narrow margin.

Dennis Wideman has been performing at a point-per-game clip over the past five outings, going for two goals and three assists. Luke Schenn is scoreless over the past seven games. While he is a hit machine, and might have a little extra playing against his old team, Wideman is the better play.
